![]() ![]() when determining what you'll get for higher rarity, however, the actual weapon type will change (hammer => sword, sword => axe, axe => hammer). Why shouldn't you try to get all the mythic weapons at the same time? The forge looks at the strong vs. I tend to sacrifice the rank 2 greys before the rank 1's since the 2's cost more to forge. Ideally, you would want to sacrifice everything at once, but going low to high and you should be fine. I ended up waiting an extra week on an item because I didn't have enough greens since I had used too many in the forge. It seems counter intuitive because you need fewer higher rarity items, but it is quite possible to get one to drop from a chest or in the rift and makes all your crafting unnecessary. When sacrificing, do not forge higher equipment to sacrifice until you have gotten 100% on the lower gear. That being said, the mythic hammer is arguably the best and you should lean toward getting it before the other weapons, i.e., don't actually sacrifice anything for the sword or axe, see below. Don't worry about getting a set of uniques or the types of uniques. This is not that primer, but should help nonetheless.Īs others have said, you should just focus on getting mythics as soon as possible since they are stronger than uniques and can be used anywhere. Seeing posts like this makes me want to write a primer on things. I say that if you dont have all weapons already, unlocking all 3 mythics should be done since each of them can be attuned against 2 enemy types meaning you can have 6 strong vs weapons with only 3 pieces. Some believe that unlocking the hammer only (due to its charms which are the best for raw dmg output) and upgrading only that is the most efficient way to go. If you need more damage from your heroes, shoulders or boots are probably the right pick for you. For example if you have trouble with durability, helmet is the item for you. After that depending on your inventory and your necessities you can see which fits you the best. Regarding armor you should start with the body since its the best piece, also its the piece that has the most armor at max lvl. For that reason i suggest you going full speed for mythics. It will probably take you a while until you reach the point where you can clear all of it, but still the rewards gained are greater than those coming from dismantles. Note, rift provides a great amount of epic charms weekly. Then you can decide whether you want to max them out, or start dismantling again for charms. ![]() Just hoard chests, sacrifice pieces, upgrade your mythics until the moment you can easily clear the rift. If you are going to start farming the rift consistenly you shouldnt dismantle anything. At the moment mythic pieces have standard charm slots so you dont have to worry about that either. For that reason its not worth going for uniques if you havent a set already. Mythics can be used outside the rift as well.
